Gary Graham

Gary Graham becomes the first designer to set up shop within ABC Carpet & Home, creating a self-contained fashion boutique. The futuristic curved structure—a nod to the designer’s aversion to being “put in a box”—will be stocked with Graham’s complete collection of meticulously washed and dyed draped dresses, fitted jackets and relaxed knits. New York also plays a role in his designs: “I always ask myself, Can you wear this on the subway?” Whether they ride the subway or not, New Yorkers will be attracted to Graham’s signature prints and structurally innovative cuts, like a white double-breasted leather coat ($2,685) and this smock-skirt/shirt combo ($635). 888 Broadway at 19th St, first floor (212-473-3000 ext 746)
