Cielo follows a time-tested formula: little club + humongous mirror ball. The sunken dance floor is a nice touch as well.

Pacha
Considering what was in this space before—the second, far inferior incarnation of Sound Factory—the current tenants have glammed up the joint impressively.

APT, upstairs
With striped wallpaper, stuffed chairs and muted lighting, it reminds us of partying at our friends’ houses while the folks were away.

Blights

Webster Hall
Sure, the main room is pretty stunning—if you can see past the acid-wash jeans and gold chains that fill it up on most nights.

China Club
This dinosaur has definitely seen better days, and even its most attractive attribute—the Jade Terrace—is pretty corny.

APT, downstairs
With its fake wood paneling (backlit for emphasis), it reminds us of Boone’s Farm–fueled hurl sessions in our friends’ basements.
